The Trust your Taste Academy opens applications!
The Academy promoted by Assica as part of the project “Trust your taste, Choose European Quality”, the new training proposal dedicated to counter and delicatessen operators, will soon start. It is a real path, divided into 9 topics, addressed in as many educational videos lasting about 15/20 minutes each.
Among the subjects covered are the history of cured meats, quality brands, pork cuts, pork in the diet and meat and sustainability. The lecturers have been selected by ASSICA from among the leading experts and communicators in the sector, such as Luca Cesari, gastronomic journalist, long-standing contributor to Gambero Rosso and author of Sole 24 Ore, Livia Galletti, Nutritionist Biologist, and Fabrizio Nonis, el Beker, Ambassador of Taste and one of the best-known faces to consumers, who has been involved for years on the main national TV channels and on-line for the promotion and culture of meat.
Some lessons will also be held directly by Davide Calderone, Director of ASSICA, and Monica Malavasi, ASSICA Communications Manager, who will be entrusted in particular with the module on sustainability and the reduced environmental impact of the pig sector, a central theme in the “Trust your taste” project and very dear to the Association, which recently launched its own sustainability programme.
