THE CONFERENCE ‘MEAT AND CURED MEAT CONSUMPTION IN ITALY, BALANCE SHEETS AND PROSPECTS’ WILL BE HELD ON 5 MAY AT CIBUS.

The Conference “Meat and Cured Meat Consumption in Italy, Budgets and Prospects” will be held on 5 May at Cibus, promoted by ASSICA in collaboration with the Confindustria Study Centre, IRI Worldwide and Ismea.

The seminar comes at a time of particular emergency for the sector, grappling with the abnormal growth in the costs of raw materials and utilities that has occurred in recent months, and is an important opportunity for companies and operators to update and compare notes, promoted as part of the European project “Trust Your Taste, CHOOSE EUROPEAN QUALITY” www.trustyourtaste.eu created to stimulate innovation in the sector towards a new supply chain model and to improve the image and perception of pork and cured meats, making consumers more informed and aware in their food choices.

ASSICA, Associazione Industriali delle Carni e dei Salumi (Association of Meat and Cured Meat Industries), is the national trade organisation that, within the Confindustria (Confederation of Italian Industry), represents pork butchering and processing companies
